The immersive experience… While many institutions claim this principle, only a very small number, like Audencia, are able to offer students maximum discovery, maximum intensity and truly differentiating courses. In Nantes, whatever your wish – International Course, Commitment Course, Modular Course, Apprenticeship Course or Dual Skills –, Audiences will really have this “total” training perspective in their sights. Lifelong learning, which will challenge them throughout their course.
“We want a great experience, at each stage of schooling and especially during international periods”, says Nicolas Arnaud, Director of the Grande École Program and Audencia Programs. The simple fact that we have 200 academic partners around the world allows us to limit the number of our students by destination. This guarantees them real autonomy and all the personal enrichment that this type of immersion allows. »
Audencia’s Global Mobility Track is emblematic of this promise of international immersion. After a 1st semester of fundamental courses, it is indeed possible for students to leave study 6 months in Europe, before considering a 3rd semester in the United States or China. Back in France, students will still be able to think about the international through internships. Finally, they will have the opportunity to enter one of Audencia’s Masters in English in their final year, unless they opt for a double degree in France or – again – internationally. “Audencia is an international school by nature, hence the inclination to offer this type of course”, continues Nicolas Arnaud. Let’s not forget that we were the first school in France to make a period abroad mandatory, in the 1970s. Since then, we have only strengthened this dimension. And the proposal last year to integrate one of our Masters of Science entirely in English also goes in that direction. »
Immersion and hybridization
In addition to its 28 master’s and specialized master’s® in Accounting and Finance, Business and Society, Marketing and Sales, Management and Sector Offering, Audencia has also multiplied new international and hybrid course completion courses in the last 18 months. “Double courses with partners with very different specialties”, smiles the director of the Grande École Program. Our students will thus have the prospect of a double change of scenery. Both geographical and disciplinary. And the list of these courses is long… In addition to international double degrees in areas close to administration or even finance with the universities of Berkeley (USA), Aston (UK) and Tongji Shanghai (China) they have double degrees and certificates in many more distant fields were also created: “Students will be able to follow training in audiovisual creation and production with the New York Film Academy (NYFA), training in art and design at UCLA, or even a training course in Italian gastronomy and culture with the Lorenzo de Medici Institute in Florence. »
For students who have remained in France, Audencia will also offer prestigious training courses. And, among other things, the possibility of obtaining, in addition to a master’s degree at the Grande École, a master’s degree in Business Law from the Institute of Business Law, or the double title of manager engineer at Centrale Nantes or, more recently, at École Madeira Superior.
Immersion and ecological transition
Finally, immersion in Audencia also means full and complete integration at the heart of the teachings of environmental concerns. Already long known for its commitment to CSR, the school will open at the beginning of the next academic year a new six-month master’s course 1 dedicated to the management of ecological and social transition. “This course will be entirely in English and fully focused on this transition theme, which we cover in all our courses, but which will be addressed here in a much more specific way. A new program whose design owes a lot to Gaïa, the school created in-house to help us transition into this new, more ecological and social era. We are also continuing to study the establishment of new partnerships in France or internationally. »
